I am 47 and I am a disabled/retired vet I served from Feb 80 to April 98. I was a Boiler Technician then became a Machinery Repairman (Machinist) I served on the USS LaSalle AGF-3 USS, Coronado AGF-11 and, the USS Tarawa LHA-1 and I also was stationed at Mayport, Florida I have finally settled in Arkansas. I am happily married with 5 kids 3 boys and two girls.

New blog starting

Over time I hope to write a complete  journal of my life......more for me than anything else. I will also share my love for quilting.  Over the next few days I will be adding pictures of blocks and quilts to show my development of my quilting time,  I have only been at this a year or so.

    I have posted some of the Quilt blocks I have done up till this point. I know I have missed some but they will make it here soon.

    Keep posting, and try to keep journal of every step so you can go back and remember what worked and what did not
